Usually moving in groups and caring for each other, Elephant is know to be a very and gentle creamre. For many years people have used the strength of these poweful animals to move trees and heavy logs. Elephant has been and is a vital tool for people to do many things that would normally be imposs-ible.

　　在加拿大時(shí)，莫老師為我們安排了一堂2個(gè)多小時(shí)的全英文演講課，讓我印象深刻。

　　7月26日的晚飯后，我和小伙伴們坐車出發(fā)去上課。在路上，天空突然傾盆大雨，不一會(huì)就下起了冰雹，打在車窗上噼啪作響。我真是又好奇又害怕，因?yàn)檫@是我第一次看到冰雹，但我好擔(dān)心冰雹會(huì)把車窗的.玻璃砸碎。還好沒(méi)過(guò)一會(huì)兒，雨和冰雹就都停了。

　　我們來(lái)到了一幢不大的房子前，走進(jìn)去一看，架子上全是各種書(shū)籍，原來(lái)這是一家小圖書(shū)館。圖書(shū)館非常干凈且鴉雀無(wú)聲，靜得我們都不敢說(shuō)話了。我們靜悄悄地來(lái)到二樓頂頭教室里，教室不大，是一個(gè)四周高、中間低的梯形教室。劉老師向我們介紹授課老師，說(shuō)：“這是jimmy哥哥的私教，可厲害了�！庇⒄Z(yǔ)課開(kāi)始后，兩位老師分別用英語(yǔ)作了自我介紹，然后帶領(lǐng)我們站到教室臺(tái)階上做課前熱身活動(dòng)。我腦袋里連連問(wèn)號(hào)：“真奇怪，這到底是英語(yǔ)課還是上體育課？為什么還有熱身運(yùn)動(dòng)呀！”其實(shí)這就是一堂英語(yǔ)演講課，演講時(shí)是要做動(dòng)作的，需要演講的同學(xué)大膽地去表現(xiàn)自己，可以添加表演、手勢(shì)還有自己夸張的表情，我真是第一次遇到還可以這樣演講。

　　課上我們進(jìn)行了感情讀詞、即興演講等環(huán)節(jié)，每個(gè)小伙伴都積極表現(xiàn)自己。即使詞語(yǔ)知道的并不多，但加上我的微笑、夸張的表情，也為我的演講加分呢！不知不覺(jué)，2個(gè)小時(shí)的課程就過(guò)去了。這天晚上我過(guò)得很開(kāi)心，因?yàn)椴粌H收獲了知識(shí)，體驗(yàn)了不同的英語(yǔ)課教學(xué)，還使自己得到了鍛煉。

Immediately the homeless dog filled me with sympathy. So I bent down and held him in my arms. I rushed him upstairs and right away fixed him some food. Then, I gave him a bath. After the bath he looked energetic and refreshed. What a lovely dog!

　　When my parents got home, I asked if I could keep the dog. To my surprise and happiness, they agreed. From that day, he has become a member of our family. Everyone has enjoyed his company. My parents walk him often. He and I play joyfully.

　　Looking at the cute, happy dog today. I realize that I did the fight thing. I brought him to a warm, loving home and he has brought us great happiness and laughter.
