提起英語(yǔ)，小學(xué)時(shí)我還覺得我與英語(yǔ)無(wú)緣，可是來到初中后我有點(diǎn)兒愛上了英語(yǔ)。
在小學(xué)時(shí)，我覺得英語(yǔ)好不好無(wú)所謂，反正也不考試，所以我上課根本不認(rèn)真聽，下課也不復(fù)習(xí)，什么語(yǔ)法單詞呀，我一概不通，英語(yǔ)學(xué)的一塌糊涂。
到了暑假，媽媽又幫我報(bào)了一個(gè)初一英語(yǔ)預(yù)習(xí)班，放假第一天我正在新圖書館里與好朋友讀書，突然媽媽沖了進(jìn)來啦，拉起我就走，我連忙問媽媽，媽媽含糊的說了句：“英語(yǔ)開始了�！蔽抑荒芨笥褌兏鎰e，戀戀不舍中帶著生氣——放假第一天就學(xué)英語(yǔ)，真討厭！
到了英語(yǔ)班，我發(fā)現(xiàn)胡老師講課真的很有趣，在我眼里一個(gè)個(gè)生硬的單詞變成了一個(gè)個(gè)小小可愛的精靈，一個(gè)個(gè)音標(biāo)，單詞，字母都有趣了起來，從此枯萎的英語(yǔ)成了最有趣的一個(gè)學(xué)科了。
上了初中，由于前面的預(yù)習(xí)我覺得很輕松，你今年愛上了英語(yǔ)，上課時(shí)的每一分鐘我都很認(rèn)真的.聽，下課時(shí)我也會(huì)好好的復(fù)習(xí)，終于在一次英語(yǔ)考試中我拿到了96。5分的好成績(jī)。要知道在小學(xué)我就是七八十多分。
如果不是胡老師，我怎么會(huì)取得這樣的好成績(jī)呢？

I would like to thank you for all the help you gave me during this past semester. You were alway so patient when I asked you questions. You listened to them carefully and explained everything so thoroughly.
You showed me different ways to practice and remember new words and usage. I felt so encouraged and became more comfortable in speaking English.
You made the excercise so interesting that I was always very eager to participate and practice. My English has improved so much.
How could I thank you enough?! I cannot wait to take your class next semester and keep working on my English.
