No one can have failed to notice the fact that water shortage is a grave problem with which the whole world is confronted. Actually, it has become so widespread that it has severely affected people's daily life and hindered the development of the global economy.

In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. First, it is essential that laws and regulations be worked out and enforced to protect water resources. Secondly, people should enhance their awareness of saving water. With these measures taken, it is reasonable for us to expect a brighter future. 考慮到問(wèn)題的嚴(yán)重性，在事態(tài)進(jìn)一步惡化之前必須采取有效的措施。首先，制訂法律法規(guī)的制訂和實(shí)施來(lái)保護(hù)水資源是必須的。其次，人們應(yīng)該增強(qiáng)節(jié)水意識(shí)。通過(guò)采取這些措施，我們有理由期待一個(gè)更美好的未來(lái)。
